Alison Gazarek

Alison Gazarek is Principal of the education team at Intentional Futures, a B Corp consulting firm that partners with organizations working at the intersection of education, technology, and design. She helps philanthropies, nonprofits, and industry leaders navigate complex systems change, with a focus on strategy, emerging technology, responsible AI, and the design of data and learning systems that create stronger connections between institutions, opportunities, and people. Grounded in a deep commitment to public education and school equity, Alison brings a practitioner’s perspective to helping leaders shape the future of learning intentionally rather than leaving it to market or technology forces alone. At Intentional Futures, Alison leads work spanning AI-enabled education and workforce systems, stakeholder-centered strategy, technical landscape analysis, and cross-sector collaboration. Her team has supported partners including the Gates Foundation, Microsoft, AERDF, Equal Opportunity Schools, and the World Health Organization. Alison and team recently launched the AI Education Collaborative, a cross-sector call to action that brings together funders, researchers, developers, and education leaders to shape a future where AI supports human learning and expands opportunity.
