Amir Matallaoui

Amir is the founder & CEO of hoopooh and a researcher and designer focused on the future of education technology. He holds a PhD in Gamification and Communication Design and a Master’s degree in Human–Computer Interaction from the Technical University of Berlin. His work explores how gamification, human–computer interaction, and learning sciences can be combined to design more engaging, equitable, and human-centered educational experiences, with users across Berlin, the GCC, and Cairo. Amir’s vision centers on building digital learning systems that motivate learners, support educators, and scale meaningful learning outcomes.
