Amitabh Jhingan is a member of the EY Parthenon International Education Strategy Practice and leads EY’s Education Practice in India. He brings over 20 years of Strategy and Consulting experience and has served clients on 200 + strategy, commercial diligence, market assessment, and performance improvement projects in the education sector. He has worked in operating roles in the PreK and K12 Sector between 2014 and 2017 and has served a diverse spectrum of clients which includes governments, global investors, and education operators across different education sub segments which include Higher Education, TVET, Education Financing, Transnational Education, Edtech, and Education Services. Amitabh has been closely involved with the Edtech sector in India and has also worked with several non-education clients in connection with their expansion into the education sector. He has advised leading Indian and global universities, providing strategic insights in areas such as growth and international expansion, development of transnational education formats, establishment of international branch campuses, diversification of revenue streams, and formulation of strategies for offering digital and online programs. Amitabh is a regular speaker at industry events and has published numerous reports and thought pieces on the education and higher education sector and is an active participant in policy discussions shaping the future of the education sector.
