State University, the Managing Director of ASU Preparatory Academy charter school and the Chairman of the Board for ASU Prep Global. Amy leads the work at ASU Prep to design new models to increase engagement and outcomes for all learners, and scales those innovations in partnership with over 300 school districts nationally via ASU Prep Global. She co-designed the Khan World School in partnership with Sal Khan and is passionate about incorporating emergent technology to increase engagement and learning. Amy has worked and advocated at both the state and national level, and writes extensively on innovation and its relationship to opportunity. She has worked with international school leaders to understand blended learning, and, at Florida Virtual School, she was charged with testing, developing, and scaling up educational technology products for the school’s six hundred thousand learners. She sits on the board for the World Series of Entrepreneurship and Trace Academy and is passionate about redesigning the student experience from the inside out. Amy is a University of South Florida graduate with a Bachelor’s in Social Science Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. She is happily married with 3 children who help remind her what kids really want when it comes to education.
