Ankit Gupta is the Founder and CEO of Wayground (formerly Quizizz), a global learning platform used by millions of educators and students. Under his leadership, Wayground has grown from a single classroom engagement tool into a comprehensive learning platform supporting K–12 schools and districts with curriculum delivery, assessment, and AI-powered teaching support across the world Before founding Wayground, Ankit studied engineering and built the first version of the product himself. He continues to bring a strong product-and-technology lens to company building, with a focus on practical innovation that helps teachers do more with less and improves student outcomes at scale. Today, Ankit leads a distributed team across the U.S, India, and Brazil, driving growth in school and district partnerships while expanding the company’s product portfolio for the future of learning. He is especially focused on how AI can responsibly support educators, personalize learning, and increase access to high-quality instruction.
