Antonio Delgado is passionate about creating and providing educational opportunities that change lives. As the Vice President of Innovation and Technology Partnerships at Miami Dade College, he has focused on realizing the institution’s ethos as an equalizer of opportunity for economic mobility. At MDC, he has fostered strong connections to drive innovation and workforce development with industry partners such as Amazon, Tesla, IBM, Microsoft, Intel, Apple and Google; and launched Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics and Electric Vehicle Centers and programs at MDC. He has helped secure over $60 million in prestigious grants and external resources from private and public institutions like Knight Foundation,National Security Agency, National Science Foundation, Economic Development Administration, Mozilla, Apple Community Initiatives and Google.org, among others. Mr. Delgado currently serves as CoPI of the National Applied AI Consortium, an NSF funded initiative to develop AI talent.
