Arnav Kumar

Arnav is the co-founder of Leap, a platform for global education and careers. A graduate of IIT Kharagpur, he is passionate about community-led ventures and Leap is his attempt at approaching the complex ecosystem of overseas education. Arnav started his career at Deutsche Bank as an Analyst in Equity Restructuring. Later, he joined a leading venture capital firm, Elevation Capital (previously known as SAIF Partners) as AVP and led deals in the consumer internet space (e-commerce, education, consumer logistics, automotive). Arnav's venture capital experience honed his investing expertise and business acumen, providing a structured approach to opportunity identification and evaluation. This complemented his entrepreneurial mindset, earning him recognition as a serial founder and respected voice in India's startup ecosystem. In 2019, he transitioned from Elevation Capital to co-found Outleap Technologies Pvt Ltd with Vaibhav Singh. He started Leap driven by his vision to transform international education financing and support. Recognizing the challenges faced by Indian students, including high interest rates and fragmented services, he is building a one-stop platform to provide a seamless and comprehensive experience.
