Arun Ramanathan

Dr. Arun Ramanathan is a nationally recognized education leader at the intersection of AI, instructional practice, and education policy. He is the CEO of PowerMyLearning, a national nonprofit, where he leads AI-driven innovations to improve mathematics teaching and learning, including advanced analysis of student mathematical discourse. Previously, Dr. Ramanathan served as CEO of Pivot/CORE Learning, where he scaled Science of Reading programs and services to hundreds of districts nationwide, and as Executive Director of the Education Trust–West, leading policy and advocacy efforts in California focused on educational equity. He also held senior district leadership roles, including in San Diego Unified School District, where he oversaw multiple departments, including special education. An immigrant to the U.S. and former English Learner, Dr. Ramanathan holds degrees from Dartmouth College, Boston College, and a doctorate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education
