Atul Thakkar

Atul Thakkar, a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in the finance industry, leads the Education and Technology sectors at Anand Rathi Investment Banking. He has successfully closed over 15 transactions collectively valued at ~ USD 1 billion utilizing multiple structures and papers including M&A, PE, IPO’s, QIP’s, Structured debt etc. Notable among these are transactions for prestigious clients such as Narayana Group, Centre Point School, MIT and Witty Group, among several others. He has also provided strategic advice to more than 12 education groups in India, guiding them on growth strategies and offering suitable structures to help achieve their goals. Prior to his current role,  Atul served as an equity research analyst for 7 years, specializing in Large and Mid-cap IT and Education stocks. He has published multiple industry reports on Global Education, Ed-tech, Medical Education, Higher Education and Sports sectors. His contributions have also been recognized in various magazines, including features in Education World.
