Bertina Ceccarelli is Chief Executive Officer of NPower, a national nonprofit that launches tech careers through tuition‑free training, personalized support, and job placement assistance. She joined NPower in 2016 with a determination to disrupt the status quo and build a more inclusive digital workforce. Under her leadership, NPower has grown from a $6 million to a $35 million organization, tripled its staff, and expanded its proven model into multiple new cities, opening tech pathways for thousands of young adults and military‑connected individuals.
Her commitment to economic mobility extends beyond NPower. Bertina is a founding member of TechPact, participates in CEO Action, and serves on the steering committee of America’s Promise YES Project, as well as in the Forbes Councils and Concordia communities. She was recognized as one of the tech industry’s brightest superstars by US Black Engineer & IT magazine. An engineer by training, she began her career in technology roles at Procter & Gamble and NBC, then pivoted to the nonprofit sector, holding senior leadership positions at United Way of New York City and the Wildlife Conservation Society, where she helped generate more than $85 million annually in support. The first in her working‑class family to finish high school, Bertina earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
