Brad Bernatek

Brad Bernatek is the Managing Director of the Accelerator. He is an accomplished executive with 25 years of experience in the private, public, and non-profit sectors focused on improving the long-term success of young people and working learners, particularly those furthest from opportunity. Most recently, he was a senior program officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for nearly 8 years where he developed $85M in grants across multiple investment portfolios. Brad holds a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan, an MBA from the Kelley School of Business Indiana University, and an M.A. in Financial Economics from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
