Brandee Popaden-Smith

Brandee Popaden-Smith advances work-integrated learning, career development, and career-aligned education opportunities through a systems approach centered on expanding access and opportunity for underserved learners—including first-generation students, students of color, and those from high-need backgrounds. As Senior Director in University College at Arizona State University, she oversees the Work + Learn unit as well as a portfolio of college-wide grants and strategic initiatives. Through the integration of emerging technologies and cross-sector partnerships with universities, EdTech innovators, and industry leaders, Brandee has advanced transformative approaches to connect learning and work at scale. Her work centers on redesigning higher education systems to better meet the needs of today’s learners, driving impact through a focus on access, inclusion, and opportunity.
