Brett Pollak

Brett Pollak is the Executive Director of Workplace Technology & Infrastructure Services at UC San Diego, where he provides strategic direction for campus-wide IT services. His role includes managing hybrid-cloud infrastructure supporting over 100,000 users, overseeing AI initiatives such as TritonGPT, and improving data accessibility through warehousing and predictive analytics. He also leads enterprise communication platforms, service desk operations, and cloud-based technologies that support document management, workflow automation, and case management. His areas of expertise include data analytics, cloud computing, IT service management, and user experience design. With a team of over 80 professionals and a multi-million-dollar budget, Brett focuses on operational efficiency, technology integration, and cross-functional collaboration to support the university’s business and academic needs.
