Hi! I'm deeply passionate about lifelong learning and human connection. I am the cofounder and Co-CEO of Disco, a community platform for learning together. Used by community and learning businesses of all sizes including Deloitte, Coursehero, XPRIZE, Toronto Board of Trade, York University, Disco’s new AI powered toolkit saves you hundreds of hours of time operating and scaling a thriving business. Before Disco, I helped scale Wattpad as Head of Business and Global GM, one of the world’s largest storytelling communities, which sold for US$660MM. I am a venture partner for Lobby.vc an incredible Series A Silicon Valley venture capital firm. I am very interested in augmenting human potential and connection with advances in AI. I have spent a lot of time in the Toronto AI ecosystem- having managed a microfund focused on AI, angel invested in 15 early stage AI tech companies, and have been on the board of 2 large later scale AI native companies - Coveo and Dreambox.I am from South Africa, live in Toronto, a yogi at heart, a mom to two awesome boys and a recent pup and married to a producer.
