
Carolyn Nordstrom is the Provost for Purdue Global. In this role, she oversees academics, Title IV administration, compliance, accreditation, student relations, accessibility services, faculty operations, alumni engagement, and co-curricular activities. Serving as Provost, Nordstrom works closely with the deans and leadership of each of the University's schools to ensure continued student success while also liaising with the faculty senate. Nordstrom has held various senior leadership positions, including serving as associate provost at Kaplan University and as a provost at Kaplan Higher Education Campuses. Her work has included policy, curriculum, faculty development, accreditation, assessment, institutional effectiveness, and campus operations. Nordstrom’s previous experience includes leadership roles in both private and proprietary institutions of higher education, as well as 10 years as CEO of a Chicago corporate membership organization that worked in the city and state on education and economic development projects that promoted business race relations. Nordstrom earned her bachelor's degree in secondary education, master’s degree in counseling psychology, and PhD in educational administration and policy analysis from Northwestern University.
