Celia leads the Product and Education teams at Teaching Strategies, a recognized leader in early childhood education, serving hundreds of thousands of educators and over four million children annually. Her passion lies in empowering early childhood educators to harness innovative technology to enhance classroom experiences. She focuses on connecting assessment with individualized instruction, engaging families seamlessly in the learning process, simplifying administrative tasks, and guiding educators on what’s “next” for each child every day. With over 25 years of experience in CEO, executive leadership, board, and consulting roles, Celia has worked with mission-driven companies across the full edtech landscape from early childhood to K-12 through post-secondary and beyond to workforce development. Her expertise centers on SaaS-based transformations, emphasizing ease of use and leveraging behavioral science to drive meaningful behavioral change and measurable outcomes. Earlier in her career, she played a pivotal role in launching what would become the #1 airline in America, showcasing her versatility and commitment to building impactful organizations and compelling product experiences. Celia has a wealth of experience across public, private, and private-equity-backed companies, with active participation in multiple transaction events, including successful IPOs and private-equity transactions.
