Chris Caren

Chris Caren joined Turnitin in 2009 as Chief Executive Officer, leading the company's transformation from a focus on plagiarism prevention to providing comprehensive solutions that promote academic integrity, streamline grading and feedback, and improve educational outcomes across various levels and content areas. Prior to Turnitin, he served as General Manager of Microsoft Business Solutions at Microsoft Corporation. Although his career has centered on software businesses, he comes from a family of scientists and educators. Chris holds an MBA with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Stanford University.
