Based in Bentonville, Arkansas, Christopher Shryock is senior vice president and chief people officer for Sam’s Club. In this role, he and his team oversee all aspects of the people business for Sam’s Club, both field and home office, including talent management, learning, organizational design, and continuing to build a diverse and inclusive workplace. Christopher joined Sam’s Club from PepsiCo, where he most recently led Human Resources across all Commercial functions for PepsiCo Foods North America based in Plano, Texas. In his nearly 14 years with PepsiCo, Christopher held various global people leadership roles in Geneva, Switzerland; Moscow, Russia; Dubai, United Arab Emirates; and New York. He has broad experience working with frontline, field-focused employees to senior executives and had a spectrum of accountabilities ranging from talent management, recruiting, and HR business partnering to advanced analytics and communications. Prior to PepsiCo, Christopher worked for Cendant Corporation and E. Rogers Associates, a management consulting firm. He earned a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. He also speaks Spanish.
