Claire leads the efforts of the California Community Colleges to build strategic partnerships and employ AI to increase student access, persistence, and career success. She began her career as a Teach For America corps member and was a high school math teacher and school leader in New Orleans. As an awardee of the Stanford GSB Social Innovation Fellowship, she founded a national nonprofit organization called The Arena to strengthen the school to work pipeline. Claire grew its team and impact, serving 100,000 students at 30+ public districts and schools through designing and implementing technology-based career training and employment programs as well as open-source data-driven guides on training, jobs, and pathways. She is driven by a desire to ensure all people can access economic mobility and reliably stable careers. Claire has a joint MBA and M.A. from the Stanford Graduate Schools of Business and Education, a M.A. in teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, and a B.A. from Stanford University.
