
Courtney is the Co-founder and CEO of Skillsline, a job and life readiness company using technology and learning science to teach the foundations of durable human skills that power early career success and economic mobility. Skillsline makes the hidden human skills that shape opportunity visible and teachable, working with employers, schools, and training providers to help people make the most of opportunity. Prior to co-founding Skillsline, Courtney led market development efforts for Chicago-based nonprofit LEAP Innovations, expanding the reach of its research-backed personalized learning tools to schools across the country. In addition, she led K-12 programming from 2015-2021 for the ASU+GSV Summit, founding its scholarship program and enabling the attendance of thousands of innovative school and district leaders. Courtney’s early career was spent in advisory services, including management consulting, economic development consulting, and investment banking. She serves on the national advisory board of the CAPS Network, and as an EdTech Advisor for PeakSpan Capital. Courtney holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University with a BBA in Financial Management and a BA in Anthropology.
