Wildflower Education

Daniela started her career as an elementary teacher in Atlanta, Georgia through Teach For America. At that time she earned her master’s degree in Math Education from Georgia State University. She was inspired to open a school in an effort to address the challenges she experienced in a larger district. She pursued this idea and moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota as a Charter School Partners fellow. Through the fellowship she founded Hiawatha Academies’ second elementary school, Hiawatha Leadership Academy-Northrop. As the founding principal, she helped grow the K-4 program. She is currently a partner with the Wildflower Foundation and leads their national school growth team. Daniela currently serves as a board member for Social Venture Partners Minnesota and volunteers with a number of organizations such as Breakthrough Twin Cities, Underdog Rescue, and the Loppet Foundation.
