David Samuelson

David Samuelson serves as the Executive Director at the Alliance for Decision Education. A longtime advocate for Decision Education, David served on the Alliance’s Advisory Council for more than a decade. His extensive education sector experience includes market-leading initiatives across K-12, higher education, and professional learning worldwide—directly aligning with the Alliance’s mission to improve lives by empowering students with essential skills and dispositions for making better decisions. He believes that decision-making skills are more critical than ever as all of us, especially young people, navigate an increasingly complex, AI-enabled world. As a certified executive coach through the Hudson Institute of Coaching, David combines strategic leadership with a people-first approach. His career spans education technology, digital learning, and consumer media, where he has consistently delivered results by combining strategic vision with disciplined execution. Most recently, he served as CEO of ISACA, a global association of IT professionals, where he led a cultural and digital transformation while growing revenues from $80 million to $100 million. David loves spending time with family, especially his wife and their young grandchildren. He is also an avid sailor, always seeking new sailing adventures.
