Dena Lam

Dena Lam, MS, is a graduate student pursuing a Master’s Entry to Nurse Practice at Arizona State University, focusing on advancing her clinical expertise in nursing. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (2022) and a Master of Science in Medical Nutrition (2023) from ASU. Dena's professional experience includes serving as a media spokesperson for Sherpath AI in collaboration with Elsevier, as well as experience as a medical scribe at Advanced Surgical Associates. She has been an active leader at ASU through her various roles as a peer instructional facilitator for undergraduate nutrition students, as a student representative for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as a health advocate at Community House, and her active involvement in the Student Nurses Association and College Council at Edson. Dena’s career aspirations include becoming a cardiovascular intensive care unit nurse in a pediatric hospital, where she aims to leverage her nutrition and nursing education and experience to deliver exceptional patient care.
