Dr. Donna Kidwell is passionate about shaping technologies and policies to fulfill a key promise in higher education: higher ed can help you learn amazing things and be a catalyst to transforming your life, and the world around you.Donna is the Chief Information Security and Digital Trust Officer at Arizona State University, where she has stewardship of the portfolio of both internal and external facing technical and socio-technical elements reflecting the full breadth of the university’s digital infrastructure as well as the ongoing need to educate the campus community. Prior to this role, she served as Arizona State University’s EdPlus Chief Technology Officer, where she embraced the responsibility of helping to create the technology infrastructure to support more than 100k online students while commercializing new technology produced by EdPlus. She is a frequent speaker on digital trust, innovation, entrepreneurship, technology transfer, regional innovation ecosystems, innovations in learning technologies and future models for educational delivery. She is an expert in learning technologies, program design, and change management to foster innovation in higher education. Kidwell earned a Doctorate of Business Administration from Grenoble Ecole de Management, France; a Master of Science, Technology Commercialization and Bachelors of Arts, History from the University of Texas at Austin.
