Dr. Jared DuPree

Jared DuPree is the Director of the Iovine and Young Education Group created to partner with school districts across the nation scaling the Iovine and Young learning framework.  The IYEG framework integrates real-world challenge-based learning within the core curriculum of each local educational agency.  Jared is also a Professor at the University of Southern California in theRossier School of Education. He teaches mathematics pedagogy and curriculum design in the Masters program.  He also serves on the mathematics advisory board for the Rossier School of Education supporting professional development and curriculum.Jared is a board member for the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools in which he supports policy development, implementation of the strategic plan and monitoring the partnership’s progress towards academic outcomes. Prior to joining IYEG, Jared served as the Senior Director in the Office of the Superintendent in the Los Angeles Unified School District supporting magnet school development, developing academic plans to support all students and leading principal and teacher advisory groups to the superintendent. Jared has also served as K-12 Administrator of Instruction, high school principal, intervention expert and high school mathematics teacher.
