Dr. Jodi Reeves

Dr. Reeves instructs graduate and undergraduate courses in data science, AI, engineering, program management, and manufacturing design engineering. She is also the Education, Diversity and Outreach Director of the AI Institute TILOS, which is a five-year, $20 million NSF grant for AI/Optimization with UC San Diego, MIT, Yale, Penn, and UT-Austin (https://www.tilos.ai/). Prior to National University, Dr. Reeves worked as a senior scientist in characterization, project manager, and quality control manager at SuperPower, Inc. in Schenectady, NY.  She invented new quality control tools, including one which applied XRD to thin film manufacturing; this tool won an R&D 100 Award in 2004. Dr. Reeves has 5 patents, over 30 published papers, and was an invited speaker at DOD workshops, DOE funding reviews, and national and international superconductor conferences. Finally, she led a team at SuperPower Inc. that obtained a 3-year, $5M grant for quality control capital equipment at SuperPower and workforce development in nanoscience at a local community college and undergraduate college.
