Nancy Rohland-Heinrich, Ed.D., has dedicated her professional career to encouraging educational opportunities and access for diverse populations of learners through innovative delivery systems in higher education and K-12. Dr. Rohland-Heinrich has held a wide scope of leadership positions at the National University including Executive Vice President, Vice President, and Vice Chancellor roles with oversight of key areas including external relations, marketing, communications, student services, enrollment management, academics, partnerships, military affairs, online learning, community relations, and operations. Dr. Rohland-Heinrich is an active community leader who works with dozens of regional and national organizations. She has served on numerous boards and organizational committees including LEAD San Diego, where she currently serves as Vice Chair; USS Midway Museum; YMCA; USO San Diego; Sports San Diego; San Diego Bowl Game Association; Classroom of the Future Foundation; Junior Achievement; Association of Fundraising Professionals; San Diego Council on Literacy; MANA de San Diego; Cal-SOAP; Cause Conference; and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Workforce & Education committee. Dr. Rohland-Heinrich is a graduate of Leadership California and LEAD San Diego’s Impact and Influence programs. She has been recognized in the San Diego Council on Literacy Hall of Fame, Tribute to Women in Industry, Women of Influence, San Diego Business Journal Women Who Mean Business, as well as one of San Diego’s 500 most Influential People in 2022 and 2023. Dr. Rohland-Heinrich earned her doctorate degree in Education (Ed.D.) from UC San Diego, an MBA from National University, and a BA from St. Cloud State University graduating Magna Cum Laude. Nancy lives in Encinitas.
