Her work has contributed to iconic titles including H1Z1, a pioneer of the Battle Royale genre, and Candy Crush Saga, which she helped launch on mobile before it became a global phenomenon. An early trailblazer in mobile gaming, she has also collaborated with companies such as Rovio, Digital Legends, and Sulake to elevate industry standards.
At Arizona State University, Elina serves as Deputy Director of the Endless Games and Learning Lab, where she works at the intersection of games, learning, and emerging technologies. She develops and teaches new game development courses in the ASU Game School, mentors future designers and developers, and helps build innovative models that connect creative practice, industry, and education.
