Elisa (EJ) Sobo

Dr. EJ Sobo is a faculty fellow in SDSU’s Information Technology division, with a specialization in generative AI;a professor of anthropology;and Director for Undergraduate Research in the College of Arts and Letters at San Diego State University. Sobo has published 13 books and numerous scholarly as well as public-facing articles. Her work has been covered by major media platforms including the New York Times, Fox News, and NPR.
