Ellen Levy

Ellen is a Senior Advisor to the President at Arizona State University. She is also Managing Director of Silicon Valley Connect, working with organizations and entrepreneurs on driving innovation while also managing an angel investment portfolio of 50+ startups. She is a Board member at Walker & Dunlop (WD), Rallypoint, and CAIS, and a former Board member at edtech company Instructure (INST) and Aumni (acquired by JPMorgan). Ellen spent nearly a decade at LinkedIn, first as an Advisor at the company’s founding before joining to serve on the Executive Team and run Corporate Development and Strategy. Prior to LinkedIn she ran Stanford University’s MediaX, a novel university-industry partnership program focused on the “future of tech”. Over her career, Ellen has held formal roles in venture capital (Softbank; NeoCarta; DFJ), startups (WhoWhere; Softbook Press; LinkedIn), technology think tanks (Interval Research), large corporations (Apple; PriceWaterhouse), and universities (Harvard; Stanford; ASU). Described as the “Most Connected Woman in Silicon Valley", and for three years in a row named one of the “Top (25,30,40) Female Early Stage Investors”, Ellen now spends her time focused on technology-led innovation across sectors including financial services, healthcare and education with a particular interest in rapidly-growing startups and on issues related to the “Future of Work”. She has a BS (University of Michigan) and MA/PhD in Cognitive Psychology (Stanford University).
