Dr. Eric Canny has three decades of work in higher education, non-profit and corporate. As a Dean, Vice President of Program Management, and faculty his expertise combines theory with real-world application on global operations, HR, learning and development, DEI, strategic visioning, use of technology in operations, and implementing sustainable organizational change. He is focused on the preparation of higher education to meet the needs of changes coming at the intersection of the workforce, students, and social trends in the coming years. Eric held leadership positions at New York University, Columbia University, Stetson University, Augsburg University, CEA Study Abroad, and the University of North Texas. Eric teaches at the Rossier School of Education, University of California Higher Education Leadership and Organizational Change and Leadership Doctoral programs. He consults on organizational change, strategic planning, and the intersection of workforce trends and higher education.
