Erik Burmeister

Erik Burmeister, a former finalist for National Principal of the Year and retired Superintendent of the Menlo Park City School District in Silicon Valley, is the founder of Solutionary Advisors, a human-centered design consultancy that supports future-of-learning efforts in school systems, edtech companies, and youth-serving nonprofits. Known for his expertise in managing change and successfully integrating technology, Erik’s efforts ensure all students are engaged in meaningful learning in spaces where curiosity flourishes and students’ and educators’ voices and identities are valued. Erik supports school districts in the implementation of #AI policy and practice and advises EdTech companies who want to achieve market share by designing indispensable tools that are a delight to use.
