
Gabe Hakim is Co-Founder and CEO at Promise Venture Studio, a nonprofit accelerator for impact in Early Chidhood. Promise supports a national network of 700+ social ventures touching every corner of the field, from Birth Equity and Perinatal Health, to Child Care and Early Education Access and Quality, to Family Relational Health and Economic Mobility. Promise’s programs, including the Promising Ventures Fellowship and Show+Tell, have accelerated the impact of hundreds of equity-driven social ventures and connected them to tens of millions in funding. Promise is also the backbone organization for the national Early Childhood Leaders of Color Collaborative, which supports 500+ field leaders in pursuit of greater sustainability, social capital, and collective power. This year marks the launch of The Promise Fund, an impact philanthropy fund that provides catalytic capital to early stage social entrepreneurs across the Early Childhood ecosystem. Before Promise, Gabe led numerous equity and justice-driven organizations. He has an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government with a certificate in Management, Leadership, and Decision Sciences and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business with a certificate in Public Management and Social Innovation. He is also a former preschool teacher, an AFOL, a life-long Detroit Pistons fan, and a father of two effervescent young girls.
