George Kane

Geore Kane is founder of CapitalizEd, a new vehicle providing patient, founder-friendly, impact-first funding to education and workforce companies. He spent the past decade leading Emerson Collective's venture investing in education companies and funds, and previously held senior roles at Apple, Blackboard, Pearson, HMH, and other companies. He serves on the boards of Amplify and EDC (a global nonprofit working in health, education, and work). A California native, he earned a BA and MA at Brown University and lives in the Boston area.
