Guna Jayaraman

Guna Jayaraman is Cornerstone's Chief AI Officer and a seasoned technology leader with more than two decades of experience advancing enterprise platforms and AI innovation. Prior to joining Cornerstone, Guna was the Vice President of Software Development at Amazon, leading engineering and product across HR, enterprise, and Generative AI, transforming systems that supported millions of employees worldwide. Over his 13 years at Amazon, Guna pioneered conversational AI in customer service, work that influenced several AWS service launches including Connect, Comprehend, and Translate. He rebuilt core enterprise systems on first-party AWS services, delivering AI-first HR solutions that set new benchmarks for efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence. His Amazon experience spans multiple business units including Fire TV, Retail and Operations. Before Amazon Guna worked in various engineering roles in Palm, HP and Cisco. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical engineering from University of Kansas.
