Jamie leads product, design, and research teams at Clever, the platform powering and securing digital learning experiences for over 100,000 schools globally. Since joining in 2018, her work has focused on building tools that help K-12 schools manage and get the most out of educational technology. Jamie leads accessibility efforts at Clever, focusing on how equitable and secure technology can connect every student to a world of learning. She is also a proud member of Clever’s Trust team, which ensures Clever’s commitment to the protection of student data.Jamie’s leadership extends beyond Clever. Since 2018, Jamie has been a standing lecturer at UC Berkeley, teaching a graduate-level course centered on design for tech-oriented non-profits. Her students have designed for organizations such as Creative Commons, WorldReader, and RocketLearning.Prior to Clever, Jamie held product & design leadership positions at Auction.com, Yahoo, and eBay. She has a BA from New College of Florida and a Master's in Information Management from UC Berkeley. She and her family live in San Francisco, near a small herd of bison.
