Jared Joiner’s work at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative bridges CZI’s grantmaking and product teams to build edtech products grounded in the sciences of learning and human development and codesigned in partnership with youth, educators, researchers, and practitioners. Prior to CZI, Jared worked as a central office administrator in San Francisco Unified School District and the Boston Public Schools, as a product manager at an edtech startup, and as a classroom teacher in Washington, DC. He received his Ed.M. in Mind, Brain, and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and A.B. in Cognitive Neuroscience and Philosophy at Washington University in St. Louis.
