Jarian Kerekes serves as the President of Equitable Foundation and leads the organizations Social Impact and Community Engagement. In this role, he is responsible for the overall social impact strategy, community partnership programs, and employee volunteer engagements in alignment with Equitable’s goals and objectives of being a force for good. Additionally, Jarian has recently expanded his resaponsibilities to include the development and execution of Equitable’s Wealth Management early talent recruiting pipeline program which seeks to recruit and develop the next generation of financial professionals. Jarian joined Equitable after serving in senior roles at Wells Fargo, TIAA, and the National Basketball Association (NBA) previously.
Educated exclusively in public schools, Jarian is a proud first-generation college graduate and received his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Va. Tech) and holds a master’s degree in Sports Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). Jarian currently serves on the board of the National College Attainment Network, a national organization focused on closing equity gaps in postsecondary attainment. He also serves on various Corporate Social Responsibility Leadership Councils to advance social impact issues, provide a network for practitioners, and promote learning while supporting the next generation of impact leaders.
