Jayadev Kalla

Jayadev (JD) Kalla is a Product Manager on the AWS Social Responsibility and Impact team, focusing on education programs for AI. He leads the AI & ML Scholars program, an initiative that provides education and upskilling for students and aspiring technologists to help them launch careers in AI. Jayadev is passionate about expanding access to opportunity for underserved learners worldwide, bringing 8+ years of experience building products for youth education at organizations including Careers360, UXReactor, and Toppr. He holds a BTech in Civil Engineering from the BV Raju Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Product Design and Development Management from Northwestern University. Outside of work, he volunteers with Discovery Partners Institute Chicago hosting Design Thinking workshops for kids and is a sports enthusiast.
