Jeff Selingo has written about higher education for more than two decades and is a New York Times bestselling author of three books. His latest book, "Who Gets In & Why: A Year Inside College Admissions," was named among the 100 Notable Books of the Year by the New York Times. His next book on how we need to widen our lens about what makes a good college will be published by Simon & Schuster in September 2025. A regular contributor to New York magazine, The Atlantic, and the New York Times, Jeff is a special advisor and professor of practice at Arizona State University. He also co-hosts the podcast, Future U. and writes the newsletter, Next. He's a trustee at Ithaca College and The Holton-Arms School, and serves on the board of the National Association of Independent Schools. He lives in Maryland with his family.
