Jeremy Shorr is just some guy from Ohio who considers himself a chaotic-good thought partner, socratic consultant, advisor, fixer, and connector. That's all you need to know. But if you really want more... Jeremy is the EVP of Emerging Technology at TIES, where he helps schools and organizations turn AI, STEM, and computer science from ideas into effective programs. Before moving into national work, he spent sixteen years as a leader in Ohio K-12 schools, launching one of the state's first 1:1 blended-learning programs. He now designs AI summits, builds and supports STEM ecosystems, supports statewide work, and advises the National STEM Festival, the U.S. Congressional App Challenge, the Mark Cuban Foundation's AI Bootcamps, aiEDU, the International STEM Ecosystems Initiative, the Grant Imahara STEAM Foundation, and more. Jeremy has keynoted, facilitated, or emceed in 37 states and six countries. His honors include the National School Boards Association's "20 to Watch," the Center for Digital Education's "Top 30 Technologists, Transformers and Trailblazers," Crain's "Forty Under 40," and recognition as an Apple Distinguished Educator. He was also the first CETL in Ohio and an Education Policy Fellow for the Institute for Educational Leadership. Jeremy serves on the education advisory committee of the City Club of Cleveland, the oldest free speech forum in the country, and on the expert panel for CoSN's Driving K-12 Innovation Report. He's especially proud of his long-time board role at EDWINS Leadership and Restaurant Institute, helping folks returning from prison to learn culinary arts and find a fresh start. As a connector and fixer, he's always willing to help solve messy problems.
