
Jeremy Shorr is just some guy from Ohio and considers himself a chaotic‑good thought partner, socratic consultant, advisor, fixer, connector, and hired hand. Thats all you need to know. But if you really want more, Jeremy is the EVP of Emerging Technology at TIES, where he helps schools and organizations turn AI, STEM and computer science from ideas into effective programs. Before moving into national work, he spent sixteen years as a leader in Ohio K‑12 schools, launching one of the state’s first 1:1 blended‑learning programs. Jeremy now designs AI summits, designs and supports STEM ecosystems, supports statewide work, and advises the National STEM Festival, the U.S. Congressional App Challenge, the Mark Cuban Foundation’s AI bootcamps, aiEDU, the International STEM Ecosystems Initiative, the Grant Imahara STEAM Foundation, and more. He’s keynoted, facilitated, or emceed in 37 states and six countries, weaving humor and candor into his keynotes and workshops. His honors include the National School Boards Association’s “20 to Watch”; the Center for Digital Education’s “Top 30 Technologists, Transformers and Trailblazers”; and Crain’s “Forty under 40”. Jeremy was the first CETL in Ohio and was also an Education Policy Fellow for the Institute for Educational Leadership. Jeremy serves on the education advisory committee of the City Club of Cleveland, the oldest free speech forum in the country and on the expert panel for CoSN's . He’s especially proud of his long‑time role at EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute, helping returning citizens learn culinary arts and find a fresh start. As a connector and fixer, he’s always willing to help solve messy problems.
