John Rethans

John Rethans is Global Head of Learning at YouTube where he leads the team responsible for partnership opportunities with creators, edtech companies and learning institutions. Prior to YouTube, John worked in product strategy at Apigee which was acquired by Google in 2016. Early in his career, John was a classroom teacher at East Palo Alto Charter School and has been a member of the school's advisory board. He also currently serves on the board of San Carlos Charter, California’s first and oldest Charter School.
