Jon Laven

Jon Laven is the co-founder of Snorkl, an AI-powered practice and formative assessment platform that helps teachers see and respond to student thinking. Before founding Snorkl, he spent ten years as a high school math teacher and instructional coach, working directly with students and teachers to support learning and elevate the role of student thinking in the classroom. He began his career through Teach For America and has taught in Las Vegas and Minneapolis, where he was a founding team member of Hiawatha Academies. He is passionate about ensuring AI in classrooms leads to more student thinking, not less.
