Jonathan Eig

Jonathan Eig is the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of "King: A Life," which the New York Times has called the definitive biography of Martin Luther King Jr. He's the author of six books, including four bestsellers. His work has been translated into more than 20 languages. Jonathan's 2017 book on Muhammad Ali was the inspiration for a three-part PBS documentary by Ken Burns. His 2013 book, "The Birth of the Pill," will be performed as a play this year by TimeLine Theatre in Chicago. He lives in Chicago.
