
Jordan Meranus is an education entrepreneur and executive who has led both for profit and nonprofit education organizations. Jordan recently stepped down as the co-founder and former CEO of Ellevation Education, a software company dedicated to supporting multilingual learners and the educators who serve them. He led the company from its founding in 2011 through significant national growth and its acquisition by Curriculum Associates. Jordan recently transitioned into a Senior Advisor role with Ellevation, and an Executive in Residence with A-Street. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner at NewSchools Venture Fund, and co-founded Jumpstart, a national nonprofit focused on supporting preschool children in under-resourced communities in their transition to kindergarten. Jordan holds degrees from Duke University and Harvard University, and has dedicated his career to expanding educational opportunity and equity.
