Joseph Sapien

Joseph Sapien is the Executive Director of the STTE Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship and STEAM education in the Southwest Texas Borderplex Region. With over 17 years of experience in developing STEAM educational programs, Joseph has been instrumental in creating innovative initiatives that inspire and educate young minds. As the Co-Creator of the LatinX EdTech Summit, Joseph has played a pivotal role in bringing together educators, entrepreneurs, and technologists to explore and promote educational technology solutions for underserved communities. Under Joseph's guidance, the STTE Foundation has launched several groundbreaking programs, such as the world's first Augmented Reality Science Fair and Unicorn Academy, a self-learning AI and AR entrepreneurship textbook and EdTechConnect.org. These initiatives aim to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the modern economy.
