Joshua Clark is Chief Learning Officer at IBM, where he is transforming how a global workforce builds skills in an AI‑first world. With more than 25 years of experience spanning Cisco, Red Hat, and IBM, Josh operates at the intersection of human capability, emerging technology, and the future of work. Prior to IBM, Josh led Skills & Development at Red Hat and served as Director of Learning Careers at Cisco, where he focused on designing modern skill‑building experiences, scaling learning platforms for continuous development, and building learning communities that enable knowledge‑sharing at scale. At IBM, Josh’s mission is to architect an adaptive, AI‑powered learning ecosystem that delivers the right skills at the right moment so every IBMer can grow, perform, and maximize their impact on the business. Beyond IBM, he helps shape the future of the profession as a member of the Future Talent Council and Gartner’s Learning & Development Leadership Board.
