Dr. Joy Coates is a Managing Director at Third Sector Capital Partners, where she oversees the Post-Secondary Opportunity portfolio. Through her work, she seeks to unify the efforts of higher education, community stakeholders (i.e., intermediary), government, and employers where possible, rooted in the concept that postsecondary opportunity does not exclusively mean pursuing traditional higher education. She is an accomplished professional with a wealth of experience in leadership and strategic management. Her diverse background encompasses education, workforce development, skills-based hiring practices, and program design to create equitable workforce ecosystems. Her previous experiences include surpassing productivity goals, pioneering innovative initiatives, and facilitating seamless transitions for adult learners entering the workforce.
