Julie Morgenthal

Dr. Julie Morgenthal has over 20 years of experience in information technology and executive leadership in the K-12 and higher education space. She believes Information Security and data privacy should be at the center of every technology initiative and holds several professional certifications in that area, including the ISC2 CISSP and CompTIA Cysa+ and PenTest+. She started her career as a Spanish teacher and is a Sun Devil at heart completing a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education, Master of Arts Degree in Spanish, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Innovation from Arizona State University. She also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University. She is passionate about the concepts of personalizing teaching and learning, and researching innovative, engaging learning environments. She has three daughters, four dogs, a cat, and four horses. In her spare time, she loves reading, working out and riding horses.
