Kai Roemmelt

Kai serves as the CEO of Udacity, leading provider of impactful and cutting-edge Technology- and AI education. Udacity, which has become part of Accenture in May2024, fuels change in the world by enabling individuals and organizations to unlock their potential.Before joining Udacity, Kai was part of the founding team of the Bertelsmann Education Group, a division of the German media, services and education conglomerate. Duringthis time, Kai served as COO and CFO of the portfolio company Hotchalk, Inc. a leading university service provider that was successfully sold to Noodle, Inc in 2020. Kai alsoserved as chairman of the Board of Directors of Alliant International University, where he led the turnaround of the Institution from decline to double digit growth and profitability. Prior to this he had a leading role in the merger and subsequent integration of the two largest global publishing firms, Random House and Penguin Group.Kai is also serving as General Representative North America for Eintracht Frankfurt, one of the largest multi-sports clubs in the world, as a Board of Trustee member forTomorrow University of Applied Sciences and as a Board of Trustee member of the Riyadh School of Tourism and Hospitality.
